One of the first operating ski resorts in Greece is located in Agriolefkes, at a distance of only 12 km from Portaria. The four ski pists, “Thetis”, “Falkonera”, “Panorama” and the pist for “Beginners”, are visited by people in winter time and the ski lifts run constantly carrying people.
Winter sports fans, can besides ski enjoy snowboarding and mountain ski.
The ski resort has a chalet, with almost 80 beds as well as parking and cafeterias.
Portaria offers a great opportunity for horse riding and walking in many wonderful places in the picturesque villages alone or in a group. You can see many coble stone paths and picturesque streets where you can see rare flowers, plants and many water springs and fountains with drinking water. In the winter Motor Clubs from all over Greece organize drives to Pilio.
